About Angela your coach.

I love being a creative! It is the best thing ever. I have had the most amazing career and I wish that for you too.

I set up my first business at 22 years old and I'm still going. I love working for myself, the diversity it brings, the experiences I have had, and the amazing people I have met. I have:

  • Worked as a freelancer for licencing companies, book publishers, and arts organisations

  • Sold work to independent shops, department stores like Liberty's of London, and galleries.

  • Completed private commissions

  • Ran workshops and taught creative skills

  • Developed and coordinated creative programs for a gallery and art organisations

  • Written articles and co-authored books on all aspects of creativity

  • Wrote, illustrated, and self-published my book

  • Focused on self-motivated projects

  • Supported, mentored and coached creatives in their practice and business

Phew, there's a lot there!

It has been incredibly rewarding, even though at times it it hasn't been plain sailing.

There have been times when I found self-doubt got the better of me, faced many challenges, and more recently dealt with creative blocks that have been dificult and honestly, upsetting.

At times, I let a lack of self-confidence lead to poor choices which I now regret… a little (^_^)

And, I can't help but think that if I had someone in my corner, a guide that gave me the time and space to focus on the right path for me, what would be different? What bolder and braver choices would I have made?

That is why I am so fired up about supporting creatives in their journey. Giving them the support that I wish I had at key moments in my career.

With this in mind, I trained as a creativity coach and now have a background in psychology, where I can help people change their lives for the better. To follow their dreams and wishes for themselves.

Remember, you are an incredible, amazing creative person.

Don't compromise on your creative dreams for yourself.

My Happy Clients.

I've been stuck in a rut for ages, and Angela's questioning helped with a mental mind shift in figuring out what was getting in my way. I now have clarity on what I need to do next. I feel more positive and excited about moving forward.”

How does it work?

The Inspired Creatives Calls are performance-boosting conversations focused purely on your creative practice and you as a creative person. Whether you consider yourself a professional or a passionate hobbyist, you are warmly welcome.

Sometimes as creatives we don’t have people to talk to about our hopes and dreams for ourselves or even people who ‘get us’.

Finding positive supporters can make a big difference in feeling motivated and passionate about your work.

A small boost in confidence can make a really big difference.

Some of the themes we may cover during our time working together:

  • Releasing yourself from limiting beliefs.

  • Increasing positive internal self-talk

  • Setting clear boundaries for yourself and your creative practice

  • Assertive communication styles

  • Commitment to follow through with ideas and projects

  • Self-efficiency - realistic assessment of your strengths, talents, and resources

  • Courage to step out of your comfort zone and say yes to new opportunities.

Confidence is a skill that can be learned just like a new language - with patience and practice confidence can grow.

  1. As your coach, I will guide you through the gap from where you are to where you ideally want to be.

  2. During the inspired creatives call I will ask questions in such a way that you will experience an uplifting, creative, and thought-provoking process. Helping you reconnect with your hopes and dreams for yourself.

  3. These meaningful questions will help you focus on your best hopes for our time working together, visioning your preferred future, identifying resources that would be helpful, and creating a life/business that allows your best hopes to emerge.

  4. You will have access to inspiring resources - creative, insightful tools, playsheets, resources as required to help you achieve your intentions quickly, with lasting results.

  5. And, mind-expanding excercises - tried and tested mind-expanding excercises which I use in my confidence coaching practice to help you make positive progress.

Co-creating your vision for your future by asking questions in a way that allows your own truth to surface. Facilitating ideas to what you can do differently towards your best hopes for yourself.
